We are a personal shopping service for automobiles and RV’s.  We offer an alternative to the traditional buying process.  Our philosophy is to deliver superior service and superior value to every client. We are a two person company located in Buffalo Wyoming. Rob and Jayne Millum are the owners.  Jayne is a Sheridan WY girl, a Quick Books master and an accomplished accountant with over 35 years of experience.  Rob has been in the auto and RV industry since 1972. 

 

 

Rob’s Story

Rob started as a lot boy washing cars and worked his way up to owning 7 franchises in 5 separate dealerships. He sold his stores in 2005 and began consulting for the Auto Buying Program for Costco members which he does to this day. Early in his career he ran Rob Millum Associates a training and consulting company that focused on ethical sales and service practices.  He has been a technician, fixed operations director, general sales manager and general manager before starting his training and consulting company in 1994.

Rob joined the Budget Rent a Car family in 1997 and grew from general manager of two Budget Car Sales locations to Western Regional Vice President responsible for every corporately owned Budget Car Sales dealership west of the Mississippi. In the RV industry he beta tested the RV Buying Program for Costco members through 10,000 RV in San Diego. He has purchased and sold hundreds of RV’s for several large RV dealerships over the years.

Rob is also a certified community service lecturer.  As a community service he teaches basic and advanced automotive and RV buying classes through the adult education system. Rob takes a consultative approach focused on assisting his clients with finding the right RV or vehicle, rather than focusing on just making a sale.   Rob’s approach culminated with the highest honor the Better Business Bureau bestows. In 2004 his three San Diego used vehicle dealerships won the BBB Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics. This award is a competition among all businesses of a similar size based on treating customers, employees and vendors in an ethical manner and operating a superior business. At that time he was the only used vehicle dealer to ever win the award. Several new car dealerships had won previously but never a used car dealer!

Rob has the same philosophy today. Auto and RV Finders believes in making a reasonable and fair profit instead of making as much as possible on every client every time.
